CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the conditions that apply when browsing our website and purchasing fresh cut flowers through our online shop. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. Introduction

Welcome to GRIFFIN PLANTS. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and any purchases made through our online flower shop.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our website or proceed with a purchase.

These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Delivery Policy and Refund Policy.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website for lawful personal shopping purposes. You agree not to use the website in any way that could damage, disrupt or interfere with its operation or security.

We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe that the website is being misused or these terms are being breached.

We aim to keep the website available and information accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page will always be free from errors.

3. Our Products

We offer fresh cut flowers, including roses, tulips, lilies, carnations and other flower varieties. Product descriptions and photographs are provided to help you choose the flowers you wish to purchase.

Unless a product listing states otherwise, flowers are sold by the individual stem. The displayed price applies to one stem, and the quantity selected during checkout determines the number of stems ordered.

Flowers are natural products. Individual stems may vary in colour, shape, size, bloom stage and appearance due to natural growing conditions and seasonal differences.

Photographs are intended as a visual guide. We cannot guarantee that every flower will look exactly the same as the images shown on the website.

Please check the product description, variety, colour and quantity carefully before completing your purchase, particularly when ordering individual stems.

4. Product Availability

All flowers are subject to availability. Certain varieties, colours or quantities may become unavailable due to seasonal conditions or supply changes.

We make reasonable efforts to keep product listings and stock information up to date. However, availability cannot always be guaranteed at the time an order is submitted.

If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you to discuss a suitable alternative or arrange a refund for the affected item.

We reserve the right to update, amend or remove product listings when necessary.

5. Prices and Payments

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£), unless stated otherwise.

Product prices are shown on the relevant product pages. Any applicable delivery charges or additional costs will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods presented at checkout. By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are displayed accurately. If a genuine pricing error is identified, we will contact you before proceeding with the affected order.

6. Placing an Order

When you submit an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

Order acceptance takes place when we confirm that your order has been accepted for fulfilment or dispatch.

Please check all order details before completing payment, including:

  • Flower varieties and colours.
  • The number of individual stems selected.
  • Product prices and any applicable delivery charges.
  • Your delivery address and contact details.

If you notice an error after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist, although changes may not be possible once an order has entered preparation or dispatch.

7. Delivery

Available delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout or explained in our Delivery Policy.

Delivery estimates are provided as a guide. Delays may occasionally occur due to courier operations, severe weather, transport disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order. Please ensure that any relevant delivery instructions are included at checkout.

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery period, please contact us so that we can look into the matter.

8. Fresh Flower Care

Fresh cut flowers are perishable natural products. Their appearance and vase life can be affected by temperature, handling, water quality and the care they receive after delivery.

To help maintain their condition, we recommend placing flowers in a clean vase with fresh water, trimming the stems where appropriate and following any care instructions supplied with your order.

Natural ageing and gradual changes in appearance are expected characteristics of fresh flowers. However, this does not affect your rights if products arrive damaged or do not meet the required standard.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible and provide your order number.

We will consider whether the order has already been prepared, dispatched or otherwise processed.

Fresh cut flowers are perishable goods and may fall within the statutory exception for goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. Where this exception applies, the usual 14-day right to cancel an online purchase does not apply.

This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Please refer to our Refund Policy for further information about cancellations, product issues and refund arrangements.

10. Customer Responsibilities

When using our website and placing an order, you agree to:
